Jason and Angela Mitchell

Our choice to give to Davis Education Foundation is deeply personal. Our own children have benefited for many years from the work the Foundation sponsors - STEM labs in schools, Unified Sports, and a host of other programs funded by the Foundation that make Davis School District great! Our appreciation for the Foundation's belief that ALL students need support - especially the most vulnerable - stems from our own lived experiences. Growing up, we faced hunger, instability, and homelessness. For Jason, this culminated in sleeping outside his senior year of high school. There were good people who helped along the way, and this is one way we can give back and show our gratitude. It is a great privilege to partner with the Foundation to ensure that every child in Davis School District has access to necessities vital to their success in school and in life. The Foundation is doing a great work!
